Obituary for James E Smith

LAWRENCEVILLE
James E. Smith, 62, of Lawrenceville and formerly of Titusville passed away Sunday July 14th at Capital Health Medical Center at Hopewell. Born in Trenton he was a life long area resident. He was a graduate of Hopewell Valley High School and Trenton State College where he was a music major. He most recently was employed by Ewing Township Recreation Center. Jim was a member of the Union Fire and Rescue Squad, Prospect Heights Fire Company and the Reaville Church. He was also a member of the Central Jersey Choir and played keyboard for John Savage and the Classic Rockers.
Son of the late Mahlon E. and Madelain Howell Smith, he is survived by his wife Carol Ann Smith, his daughter Carly E. Smith, a granddaughter Cassidy Whittles, and aunt Elsa Smith and best friend Susan Smith, and his dog “Buddy”.
The viewing will be held Saturday July 20th 12-3pm with funeral services at 2pm at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Road, Pennington. The interment will be private. Condolences are welcome at www.wilsonapple.com.
